Any animation that incorporates a model/s created in 3D space from a computer. Today, the most popular way to produce animation is by using a computer to do all the "in-betweens" that with traditional forms of animation would have to be drawn, shaped or moved 1 frame at a time.
Not only can the computer create 3D animation, but also other types of animation such as cell style, stop motion, sketch, 2D and a mixture of all
of these types.
Movies Such as Finding Nemo, Jimmy Neutron and The Matrix have used 3D animation to the finest degree. |
